Chronicling the California Child Welfare Services Redesign

Brief Description
The Marguerite Casey Foundation (MCF) has provided the Foundation a Consortium for California's children and youth with three-years of funding to implement, along with the California Department of Social Services, a five-year Redesign of the Child Welfare Services in California. As a supplement to this support, MCF is funding NHF to “chronicle” the Redesign process. This qualitative evaluation involves interviewing state and county, public and private, participants every six months, observing meetings of the Public/Private Partnership oversight group, and reviewing the documents developed to promote state-level activities that support Redesign implementation.
